sick dog; how or what can i use to treat the yard from spreading germs to my other dogs?
My dog is really sick throwing up alot and vomiting (took her to the vet this morning in hopes that she’ll be fine). Any ideas on how i can treat the yard and all to keep from spreading the germs to my other dogs?
Not sure what’s wrong quite yet. Just wanna be safe and try and take care of the germs if any to make sure the other dogs are okay.

Can a dog get a disease from a dead squirrel and transfer illness to a human.?
My dog was licking a dead flat squirrel in the street, then she through up her food for 2 days. Then I got an infection in my tonsils and 1 day after that cleared I got a very bad infection in my eye my doctor doesn’t know what caused it. Could I have caught from my dog due to the dead squirrel.

Is it standard for Vets to deny medications for a life-threatning illness. We found he just killed a dog?
For approx 4 mths, our 11 lb dog has had seizures, bleeding, and rushed in for severe life-threating allergies. We have finally found an antibiotic that clears all her of all symptoms. The vet refuses to give her this life-saving med until he does a weekly CBC which always points to a high infection, only then will he issue the meds. I cried and begged to please give her more than a weeks worth of meds before running the same test that point to a huge infection, he says NO. He said he will refer her to a specialist after 1 MORE TEST, but that was a month ago.
We are going to another vet, hopefully he’ll find the source of infection, but give her meds until they find out the source of infection. Isn’t there some kind of humane law for denying life-saving meds for a chronic condition, & not trying to find what the condition is? Please feel free to e-mail me. I have all my bills together, along w/ pictures. She goes from a healthy-boucing dog to swollen & gasping for breath.

Mystery dog illness, need help identifying problem!?
My dog has gotten ill and its concerned me greatly, although i cannot find a clue as to what it may be. He has a red “rash like” discoloration around his genitle area, he has most all of his lymph nodes swollen, and a fever. He is a Shih – Tzu, and part Lahpsa Ahpsa. He has recently been to the groomers if that helps in any way. Please feel free to ask for any other required details. Your help and time is greatly appreciated, thank you.

What illness does my dog have?-Please hurry!?
My dog has been sick the past few days. He is a young black lab – german shepherd mix and he has not been eating anything. He also has been vomiting what little water he drinks and when he poops it is very watery diarrhea. Both his vomit and feces have blood. We don’t have any money to take him to the vet right now and are trying our best to get the money. He does not have any energy where as he normally would be constantly playing. Please hurry with the answer, we’re not quite sure what to do right now.

will a dog bed with cedar chips mixed in make my dog sick?
I have an older dog, and I bought her a bed that has cedar chips mixed in with the padding. I just read that cedar chips can cause breathing problems, will this make her sick?
The bed has a thick covering that I wash weekly, and it’s inside.
She’s 10, and I don’t want to do anything that will make her sick.
